Description

Elvis Presley’s 1976 Harley Davidson FLH 1200 Electra Glide is more than just a motorcycle; it’s a rare and tangible piece of his personal legacy. This Bicentennial edition, one of only 750 produced, is the last motorcycle Elvis personally acquired. On August 11, 1976, he purchased this custom-designed, full-dress Harley Davidson for himself. It remains in its original condition with minimal mileage, a testament to its careful preservation.

Originally registered to his home in Palm Springs, CA, the motorcycle later found its way to a Memphis Harley Davidson dealership as part of Elvis’s possessions. True to his generous nature, Elvis often gifted his cherished belongings to others, reflecting his legendary spirit of giving.

A polaroid photo of the motorcycle on the driveway of Graceland in 1977 further solidifies its historical significance.

Authenticity:

In 2022, Priscilla Presley, ex-wife of Elvis Presley, wrote and signed a letter confirming the authenticity of this iconic motorcycle for the current owner. Additionally, included in the photo carousel is a polaroid of the bike on the driveway of Graceland in 1977.

Provenance:

For over three decades, this iconic motorcycle was a centerpiece at the Pioneer Auto Museum. During its tenure there, it was housed in a glass, museum-grade display case, strictly off-limits to guests. This meticulous preservation has ensured its pristine condition, making it a coveted treasure for collectors and enthusiasts alike.

In 2019, the motorcycle was marketed at auction and sold privately to its current owner. The decision to part ways with this historical artifact provides a unique opportunity to own a piece of Elvis Presley’s life and legacy.
